Time to wipe off that mascara as sh*t is about to get real. This week has been a sad one, with Ben's final performance with As It Is & now we have Ashley Purdy announcing his departure from Black Veil Brides. Ashley originally joined Black Veil Brides in 2009 replacing Robert Thomas. He featured in albums We Stitch Those Wounds, Set The World on Fire, Wretched and Devine: The Story of The Wild Ones, Black Veil Brides (Self Titled) & last years release Vale.
It was announced on Black Veil Brides Twitter on 15th November 2019 that Ashley Purdey and the band have "mutually agreed to part ways". One twitter user @Londonsmom951 said that she "saw it coming" and another fan @LSelvar noted that she had noticed that "Ashley isn't happy where he is" and stated that "life is taking him on a different path".
