Bohemian Rhapsody which reflected on the life of Freddy Mercury and his band Queen was a huge last year and even won Oscar awards.
Now, Queens music video director who has been involved with creating most of Queens music videos, has stated that there is a chance there might be a sequel to Bohemian Rhapsody. The news comes from the music video director Rudi Dolezal when being asked questions about Queens manager Jim Beach. He said "I'm sure he plans a sequel that starts with Live Aid". Which was the ending of Bohemian Rhapsody. He continued to say the sequel is "being heavily discussed within the Queen family".
We don't usually like to give our personal opinion on things, but we felt as if we should say this:
Despite the success of Bohemian Rhapsody and the grateful gift of being able to witness behind the scenes of Freddy Mercury's and Queen's life, we at Rock Lifestyle UK believe this is simply just another money making opportunity and like most sequels to films, could come out horribly wrong. We think that the band, the family and the management should not produce another film. Leave the memory of legendary rock singer Freddy Mercury how it should be. Legendary.
If they do go ahead with the sequel, we can only wish them good luck and keep our hopes up that it will be good and will keep to the facts rather than dramatising it all.
What do you think about the possibility of Bohemian Rhapsody - The Sequel?
Must the 'show go on' ?
