Delilah Bon Bio:

"HEY THERE !!! I'm Delilah. I'm 23. I RAP, SCREAM & SING LIKE AN ANGRY PRINCE-LESS PRINCESS! I also PRODUCE/WRITE ALL MY OWN MUSIC & EDIT THE VIDEOS. Nice to meet you! Here's my story...

From the fiery pits of girl-rage within me I gave birth to 'Delilah Bon' after speaking out about sexual harassment of womxn at my live shows with my grunge band 'Hands Off Gretel'. I was met with resistance online, guys telling me girls were 'asking for it' with girls flooding my dms explaining they'd been sexually assaulted or felt unsafe at music shows. I had all this rage in me as I started rapping to beats about everything that pissed me off which was TOTALLY new for me as until this year I've never even attempted to rap!

I just KNEW I wanted to create something that MYSELF and my girls could DANCE TO, something we could just feel empowered and BOSS B*TCH listening to, something that would allow me to merge all elements of myself into something completely new.

I like to call it BRAT-PUNK, merging punk and rap with empowering often sarcastic bratty lyrics.

I have tracks that are NASTY, like I'm talking NU-METAL meets hip hop screaming like a banshee but then many of my unreleased tracks are more rap driven and lyrical. This is just the beginning of what Delilah Bon will become!! "

What are our thoughts about "Chop Dicks"?

Delilah Bon, the brat punk hip hop baby, shows the deeper side of vocalist Lauren Tate.

The meaning behind Chop Dicks itself is "a song addressing rape culture and the importance of understanding consent. I sat down at the keyboard and began to rap about what made me angry, tackling subjects like rape and the issues women face. Throwing questions at the listener: 'Would you feel the way that I feel if that girl was your kid' I wanted to make people sit upright and think about it" - Delilah Bon

We feel that Delilah has hit the nail on the head & has certainly gained everyone's attention, asking the important questions & raising concerns that many are too scared to do. We cannot agree with Delilahs message enough, the world certainly needs an artist who isn't afraid about raising these important issues.

The woman behind the vision, Lauren Tate, openly talks about empowering women, supporting others & spreading awareness of a culture that shouldn't exist, that being rape culture & the objectification of women both young & old on her social media. She isn't afraid to stand up for what she believes in, and that right now is what the world needs to hear.

As for the song & music video itself, it really throws us back to the late naughty's and early 2000's. The way it flows is very old school but Delilah has put her very own touch onto it. The music video, watching in 1080p looks very up to date, but throw that resolution down to 144p you'd think you were in 2005 watching the old school rap videos, and we absolutely love it!

Overall, Lauren Tates alter ego, Delilah Bon, is here to stay, and all of us should get listening to her messages immediately as it is something that needs to be heard & spread worldwide.
