The legend that is Danny Beardsley has released his new album "Blood From A Stone Unplugged" on July 17th 2020.
The new album is an acoustic version of his debut album "Blood From A Stone" which he released in 2019.
What are our thoughts about "Blood From A Stone Unplugged?"
We at Rock Lifestyle UK don't usually listen to acoustic albums or singles for that matter. We're more into heavy rock n roll, electrifying solos & craving that drum & bass that'll leave you rattling for hours.
However, Danny Beardsley has had us going back and fourth listening to his new album for the past few weeks whilst we've been thinking about what to write, as well as putting together an interview with him.
The new album "Blood From A Stone Unplugged" is so perfectly put together, and we absolutely love it. Danny has translated his electrifying guitar playing & solos into his acoustic album, and we can't get enough of it.
The track "Blind Eyed Decisions" is our favourite track souly down to the guitar playing. It had us whipping out our air guitars just wishing we knew how to play ourselves. Imagine jamming with Danny to this track? It's a tune!
We also have to agree with Classic Rock Magazine, his voice really does remind us of Chris Cornell, and to us, at least, a hint of Brent Smith from Shinedown.
Overall, Danny has outdone himself with this album. We don't usually come across artists re-recording their debut album within a year of it's release. Let alone completely changing it to acoustic. Danny knew what he wanted, and he mastered it.
"Danny Beardsley is someone you'll want to work with, and if you don't, you'll probably kick yourself"
