How & When did Dig Two Graves form?

The band was formed by Josh and Kenny who had known each other for years and both wanted to start a heavier project at the same time. Josh started writing some material and found Mike in college who was very interested in the ideas. We started working on our first songs for our EP when we hit up Jesse on Instagram and asked if he would be interested in joining.

Where was the first place Dig Two Graves performed?

Allstar Music Empire in Flemington, NJ

What inspired each of you to start music?

We’ve all been into music for most of our lives and been playing our respective instruments for a long time. I (Kenny) personally got into it because Josh and our friend Nick we’re both guitarists so music was always being discussed.

What’s the story behind the new song?

The newest song we have out now is a remixed version of our song “Wick” made by the famed producer Son of Michel. He took our rock and roll classic Wick and somehow made it even better. Definitely worth checking out.

What inspired you to put together new music?

Before the remix we released our debut EP “Deathwish” and to sum it up it’s generally about sadness and hard times. Towards the end of the album however, there is hope.

Will you be touring to support the new album? If so, when?

Not right now unfortunately since that is illegal due to covid.

What is your song writing process?

Generally Josh writes all of the songs and presents them to us. We all add our own parts and tweaks to it to create the final product. Sometimes they end up turning out very different from the original versions and other times they don’t change much at all.

What’s your first thoughts when you get up on stage?

I tell myself not to mess up any of my parts. It usually works.

Where was the first venue you played?

Allstar Music Empire in Flemington, NJ.

What is your most memorable moment from any live performances?

Some dude picked up an entire table and started running into the crowd with it. He got kicked out right after that.

Describe the atmosphere when you’re performing

Kind of eerie in a way at least when we are first starting. We usually walk out to a rap song or remix which then fades into Track 2. People always seem very confused at first but then start going crazy from Track 2’s heavy vibe. It’s a good time.

What band would you like to perform with the most?

Make Them Suffer or Kero Kero Bonito for sure.

Will you be touring in the United Kingdom any time soon?

No plans at the moment but that’s definitely something we would be interested in doing in the future for sure. Covid has made things difficult but hopefully we will be able to make plans soon.
